| Kindergarten
(ages 5-6) Since early experiences in life have
cumulative effects, our endeavor is to provide a rich kindergarten
program in which each child's optimal period for growth and
learning is enhanced and stimulated.
To achieve maximum progression, the Integral Education kindergarten
developmental methods are built up from the child's already
attained tendencies and abilities. Individual exercises as well
as group activities are conducted.
Individual learning plans allow for the children to progress at
their own unique pace and capacity, as well as allowing them to
learn to be independent thinkers and self-motivated guides for themselves.
Group activities at this stage allow the children to be exposed
to a variety of learning styles. Individuals therefore learn from
one another and collaborate on ideas, experiments, and outcomes.
Team effort and sportsmanship are introduced at this stage, which
increases awareness in cooperation and togetherness. Structured
physical activities are introduced to develop aptitude for strength,
health, self-confidence, and team spirit.
Writing, reading, poetry, arts, general sciences, geography, history,
numeration skills and introspective studies are encouraged at this
time. Our progressive interactive Integral Education methods continue
the development of the four domains of being (physical, vital, mental,
and inmost consciousness). Progress in each domain influences and
enhances development in the other domains.
Our Integral Education program allows children to follow and progress
to their fullest capacity in the area(s) that they show motivation
and an urge to learn. When children are provided with this freedom
of choice in a structured and stimulating environment, they are
shown to progress further than the average, and to welcome challenges
along the way.
